Since 1988, Custom Rocket Company has been providing quality model rocket kits and components. Each of their kits are made in the U.S. from high quality components. Their rockets are constructed from light-weight components such as balsa wood, paper tubes, and plastic. Kits are designed to be flown over and over again with commercially available model rocket engines. Most kits are able to fly over 1000 feet on a single engine! Rockets are comparable to Estes, but in our opinion, are of a superior quality.
The Rocket Launched Aircraft of Edmonds Aerospace are designed to let you fly in ways that you've never flown before. If you're a new, young modeler, you'll be able to see your very first construction project blast hundreds of feet into the sky with rocket speed, then soar above your head for a minute or more, long enough for you to realize just what you've accomplished with your own two hands. If you're an experienced modeler, you can fly the massive Thunder series models for a sensation unlike any other in model aviation or model rocketry. The secret behind these aircraft is the technology of laser cutting. Whenever a model design requires precise angles or part positioning to work, the computer-controlled laser creates accurate fits between pieces to guarantee that precision as you build. That means you always end up with a model that doesn't need special adjustment to fly correctly, even if you're a brand new modeler.
Semroc is the newest "old model rocket company." Originally starting in November 1967 and after a 31 year "quiet phase", Semroc now qualifies as a B.A.R.M. (Born-Again-Rocket-Manufacturer) Although there have been many exciting changes in the Consumer and Sport Rocketry field during the last thirty years, Semroc is helping keep the roots of Model Rocketry alive. Inspired by the internet and much more modern equipment than was available in the late 1960's, Semroc recaptures the fun that brought us to where we are today.

SLS is short for Semroc Large-Scale Rocketry. Based on the original Centuri Large Scale Line using larger, thicker-walled body tubes, Semroc is introducing several models in the Mid Power range. Most of the models will fly on 24mm and 29mm engines in the C through G (and small H) impulse levels. Featured in the family are laser cut basswood fins, nylon chutes, and laser slotted tubes allowing much more robust construction designed to last for years of flying.
